Celery Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    Swiss Gruyere cheese or favorite cheese
    1/2 stick sweet butter
Preparation
    Wash and peel celery.
    Cut into approximately 3-inch pieces. In pot, cover with water.
    Add salt.
    Simmer until tender.
    Drain liquid.
    In baking casserole dish, layer celery, pats of butter, cream and grated cheese.
    Continue as many layers as ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.
