1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nut meats
1 c. shredded coconut
Preparation

Have butter at room temperature; chop nuts and grease 8 x 12-inch baking pan.
Mix first 3 ingredients until well blended. Press into pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Do not brown.
Mix remaining ingredients except coconut and spread over batter in pan.
Sprinkle top with coconut and bake at 325\u00b0 for about 25 minutes or until brown.
Cut into squares while still warm.
