Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
dash of salt
2 egg yolks
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt.
Beat egg yolks with milk. Add to sugar mixture.
Cook until thickened.
Add butter.
When cooled, add vanilla.
Pour into cooked, cooled shell, if for pie. Top with meringue.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
