Seafood Fettucini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 lb. imitation crab
    1 lb. cooked fettucini
    parsley
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Melt margarine; cook garlic over low heat.
    Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.
    Slowly add milk; stir until thickened.
    If it boils, remove from heat and wait a few minutes, then add cheese. (Cheese added to a liquid at boiling temperature will curdle.) Cook and stir until cheese melts and it is smooth.
    Fold in crab, parsley, salt and pepper*.
    Toss with fettucini.
    Serve immediately.
    You can also add cooked shrimp or scallops or any combination.
