Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. applesauce
1 Tbsp. shortening
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Mix applesauce, shortening and sugar.
Add flour, soda and spices.
Mix all together.
Flour raisins and nuts so they won't sink during baking.
Mix into the batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in floured and greased loaf pan until it tests done.
