Saucy Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chops (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 c. catsup
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in skillet in hot shortening.
    Season with salt and pepper; top with onion slices.
    Combine soup, catsup and Worcestershire sauce.
    Pour over chops.
    Cover skillet and simmer for 40 to 60 minutes.
    Remove chops to warm platter and spoon sauce over.
