Ginger Cookies(Over 100 Years Old) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    5 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda, dissolved
    1 c. molasses
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together; let stand 1/2 hour in refrigerator. Roll
    out on floured board.
    Cut out shapes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0\tfor 12 minutes.
    Cool on pan a few minutes before removing.
