Cheesy Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 qt. yellow squash (about 7 squash)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, separated
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
1 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
8 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
2 or 3 slices bread
1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation

Boil squash in salt water until very tender and cool. Beat eggs until thick.
Add sour cream and flour. Add cheese, squash and bacon.
Mix well.
Place in casserole dish or large iron skillet.
Melt butter and combine bread crumbs with it. Sprinkle over top of squash. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
