"Po-Fokes" Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable shortening
Preparation
    Cook flour and water until thickened.
    Cool.
    Beat sugar, shortening and vanilla until creamy.
    Add cooled flour-water mixture.
    Beat until fluffy and spread on cake.
