Apple Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    8 to 10 apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sprinkle on top of apples.
    Roll out remaining dough.
    Dot the apples with butter, then top with remaining dough.
    Cut slits in dough.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Completely cool.
    Frost.
