Frances Madden'S Strawberry Mousse - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. Louisiana strawberries
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    vanilla
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Place mixer bowl and beaters in freezer to chill.
    Wash and cut up strawberries.
    Add sugar and mash well with a fork.
    If strawberries are not tart enough, you may add a little lemon juice to taste.
    Remove bowl from freezer and add whipping cream and a little vanilla.
    Whip the cream and fold in strawberry mixture. Pour into a container and freeze.
    This is better than any strawberry ice cream I've ever tasted!
    Recipe easily doubles or triples.
