"Chewier" Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate (4 oz.)
    2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Melt unsweetened baking chocolate and sticks of butter in double boiler.
    Cool slightly.
    Beat in sugar.
    Blend in beaten eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla and salt, then stir in flour and chopped pecans.
    Bake in 400\u00b0
    oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Frost them, if you want, but they're so good, need no glossing over.
