Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium potato
1 cake or 2 envelopes yeast
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
Preparation

Cook 1 potato in 2 1/2 cups water; drain potato.
Let cool and add remaining ingredients.
Put in large bowl and keep in refrigerator taking out enough dough each time to make the number of biscuits desired.
Brush with butter and let rise 1 hour before baking at 450\u00b0.
