Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. broccoli
    1 c. onion, sliced
    1/4 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. carrots, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
    1/2 c. half and half
Preparation
    In skillet, saute onion, celery and carrots in butter.
    Add chopped broccoli and chicken broth.
    Cook 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
    Put into blender or processor.
    Blend until smooth.
    Add half and half.
    Blend.
    Serve warm or chilled.
