Sponge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Beat egg yolks until light and fluffy.
Gradually add 1 cup sugar.
Add water and vanilla.
Add flour.
Beat egg whites until frothy.
Add salt and cream of tartar.
Continue beating egg white mixture until they hold firm peaks.
Fold into egg yolk batter. Pour into ungreased tube baking pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until light brown.
When done, invert on a glass bottle until cool.
