Arroz Blanco(White Rice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cilantro
    3 diced jalapenos
    1/4 onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 to 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 can corn, drained
Preparation
    Wash rice.
    In a large skillet, add butter and rice.
    Cook just until rice changes color; do not brown rice.
    Add water, cilantro, jalapeno and onion.
    Cover and cook for 20 minutes on low heat.
    During last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking, add the cheese and corn.
    This dish is done when cheese is melted and corn is heated through.
