Chicken Velvet Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. light cream
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    1/2 c. cooked carrots (optional)
    1/2 c. cooked celery (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Blend
    in flour and add milk, light cream and broth.
    Cook
    and
    stir until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.\tReduce\theat.
    Stir
    in chicken and dash of pepper. Heat again until boiling.
    Add optional vegetables (if desired).
