Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. milk
    3/4 c. rice (not instant)
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a deep saucepan, combine milk and rice.
    Simmer, over low heat, until rice is done (about 45 minutes).
    Mix eggs, canned milk, sugar and cornstarch in a bowl and set aside.
    When rice is done, add liquid mixture and vanilla.
    Bring back to a boil and remove from heat.
    Pour into dish and cool.
    Sprinkle cinnamon and/or nutmeg on top.
    Serve hot or cold.
