Brown Sugar French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 tsp. maple syrup
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 apples
    Italian or French bread
    5 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt in 13 x 9-inch pan the butter, maple syrup and brown sugar.
    Slice apples on top; cover apples with thick slices of Italian or French bread.
    In blender, mix eggs, vanilla and milk. Pour over bread; refrigerate overnight.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Can use peaches also.
