Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. milk
    juice from 16 oz. can cherries (red, pitted and sour; reserve cherries)
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1/3 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Over medium heat mix first seven ingredients until thickened. Pour cherries into unbaked crust.
    Add sauce.
    Dot with margarine. Cover with top crust or lattice.
    Bake in a preheated 425\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
    Preparation time: 20 minutes.
