Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. prunes, cooked and chopped
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, soda, salt and spices.
    Blend Wesson oil and sugar.
    Add eggs and prunes; beat until light and fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 13 1/2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
