Ingredients

1 c. fine stoneground corn meal
1/3 c. self-rising flour
1 onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. salt or suit to taste (before adding eggs)
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs

Preparation

Add water to make batter have the consistency of cake batter. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown.
