Apple Cheese Casserole(From Gift Horse Restaurant, Foley, Al) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    16 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 sleeve round, buttery crackers, crumbled
    2/3 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Simmer apples in boiling water until tender.
    Remove from water and place a layer in buttered casserole.
    Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples.
    Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes (delicious).
