Old-Fashioned Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 Tbsp. flour
dash of salt
6 c. thinly sliced and pared cooking apples
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
pastry for 2 crusts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
In small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, flour and salt; mix well.
Add to apples in large bowl, tossing lightly to cover all.
Pour into unbaked pie shell, mounding high in center.
Dot with butter.
Add top of pie shell; cut 4 slits in top. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
