Braised Celery Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced celery hearts
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/4 c. seeded and chopped red pepper
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 whole cloves
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients to a boil in medium saucepan over high flame.
    Reduce flame, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until crisp-tender.
    Remove bay leaf and cloves; drain.
    Makes 4 servings.
