Red Top Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. marshmallows
1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 c. boiling water
1 pkg. cherry Jell-O
1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 (9 oz.) can pineapple
1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation

Dissolve marshmallows and lemon Jell-O in boiling water.
Let cool.
Dissolve cherry Jell-O in 1 3/4 cups boiling water; chill until slightly thickened. Beat cheese, salt and mayonnaise in mixer until light.
Stir in celery, nuts and pineapple. Add marshmallow mixture and fold in Cool Whip.
Pour in a 9 x 12-inch pan. Chill until firm.
Pour cherry Jell-O over it.
