Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
dried apples or peaches (any fruit)
sugar
cinnamon
1 c. vegetable oil
Preparation

Cook fruit to your taste.
Let cool.
While cooking, mix flour and milk.
Sprinkle flour on table.
Roll out by the tablespoon as thin as you can in a circle.
Spoon in about a tablespoon of fruit. Fold over, then using a fork, press ends together using 9-inch iron skillet.
Heat oil.
When hot, put in pies, three at a time.
Cook until golden brown, then flip.
Do the same on other side.
