Orange Freeze Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 deep dish pie crust
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2/3 c. boiling orange juice
    1 c. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 c. La Creme whipped topping
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling orange juice.
    Add ice cream by spoonfuls, blending until dissolved.
    Chill until slightly thickened; stir in mandarin oranges.
    Fold in whipped topping. Pour into baked pie shell and freeze until firm.
    Remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
    Serves 8.
