Fudge Nut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 tsp. vanilla (divided)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup margarine and brown sugar together.
    Add 2 teaspoons vanilla and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together, add to sugar mixture and beat until well blended.
    Stir in oatmeal.
    Spread 2/3 of oatmeal mixture in a greased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch pan.
    Reserve remaining oatmeal mixture for top.
