Apple Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. chopped apples
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    ginger and salt
    3/4 c. brown sugar (packed)
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon and nutmeg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter; beat until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.
    Add milk and then the sifted dry ingredients. Add apples and nuts last and mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes.
