Cornish Pastry(South English Traditional Dish) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    shortcrust pastry mix of your choice
    1/4 lb. chopped up beef
    1/4 lb. potatoes, chopped or sliced
    1/4 onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Roll pastry 1/4-inch thick.
    Keep portion as round as possible (approximately 10-inch diameter).
    Pile mixture in center of pastry round.
    Wet edges and join them together on the top to form a frill; prick with a fork.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and cook for approximately 50 minutes.
    Serve hot.
