Polk-Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 c. or less brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire
1 c. tomato catsup
2 c. water
few drops Tabasco
Preparation

Simmer half an hour.
To vary, cook 1 grated onion and 1 minced clove of garlic 5 minutes in butter and add to the sauce.
