Hamburger-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bag instant rice (equal to 2 c. cooked)
    2 c. water (for rice)
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. chopped onion (1 medium)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken with rice soup
    1 c. cold water
Preparation
    Make instant rice and set oven to 350\u00b0.
    Brown ground hamburger and drain.
    Add onion to hamburger and cook 5 minutes.
    Add butter, soy sauce, brown sugar, drained mushrooms, soup and rice.
    Add 1 cup cold water and mix.
    Pour into buttered 3-quart baking dish. Cover and bake 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes more. Yields 8 to 10 servings.
