Creamy Cherry Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 maraschino cherries, cut
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter over boiling water.
    In mixing bowl, combine confectioners sugar, milk, vanilla and salt.
    Add chocolate mixture, blending well.
    Chill 10 minutes.
    Beat until of spreading consistency.
    Stir in cherries.
