Smoked Salmon And Gruyere Cheesecake With Mini Bagels(16 To 20 Servings) - cooking recipe

1/2 c. grated imported Parmesan cheese
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 Tbsp. olive oil
1 large clove garlic, finely minced
1/3 c. fresh dill, finely chopped
1/2 lb. smoked salmon
pinch of cayenne
salt and pepper to taste
2 lb. cream cheese
3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
1/4 c. whiskey
1/4 lb. shredded Gruyere cheese
5 eggs
2 doz. mini bagels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grease a 9-inch cheesecake pan with butter.
Line bottom with a buttered wax paper circle and dust the bottom and sides of pan with 3 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
Saute the onion in the oil over medium heat until soft, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add garlic, dill and salmon.
Season with salt, pepper and cayenne and set aside.
