Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, sliced
    2 qt. cukes
    salt
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar (5% acidity)
Preparation
    Slice onion thin.
    Salt cucumbers as you slice.
    Add sugar and 1 cup vinegar.
    Leave salted cukes in container for 2 hours.
    Rinse with cold water; drain.
    Heat sugar and vinegar; cool.
    Pour over cukes.
    Put into freezer cups and place into freezer.
