Buttermilk Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. corn meal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. melted cooking oil or shortening
Preparation
    Sift the flour with salt, baking soda, baking powder, corn meal and sugar.
    Beat eggs and add buttermilk and shortening.
    Add sifted ingredients and beat until smooth.
    Drop by spoonfuls on hot griddle.
    When full of bubbles, turn to brown on other side.
