Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. red food coloring
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 level Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Make paste of cocoa and food coloring.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Mix salt and vanilla with buttermilk.
    Add alternately with flour.
    Mix soda and vinegar. Add last, folding in (don't beat).
    Bake in 2 layers for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
