Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick oleo
2 unbeaten eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand for 20 minutes. Cream together white sugar, brown sugar, oleo and eggs and add to oatmeal mixture (or add oatmeal to it).
Add dry ingredients and Mix well.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
