Pineapple Cream Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    2 c. cold milk
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    16 oz. pkg. Cool Whip, thawed
    nuts for top if desired
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as box directs, pour into a lightly greased 9 X 13 pan.
    Bake, cool completely.
    In a mixing bowl beat together vanilla pudding and cold milk until thick.\tIn a separate bowl whip cream cheese until smooth and stir into the pudding mixture, beat until light and fluffy.
    Stir in pineapple, spread over top of the cooled cake.
    Then carefully frost with Cool Whip, top with nuts and refrigerate.
