Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening or vegetable oil
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    5 c. sifted flour (about)
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add sugar, salt and shortening or oil.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water; add to milk mixture.
    Add eggs.
    Gradually add flour; mix to a smooth, soft dough.
    Knead on a lightly floured board until smooth and satiny.
    Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Cover with a cloth.
    Let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.
