Seafood Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. cod or other fish, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced potatoes
2 c. water
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. clam juice
1 pt. cream or milk
3 Tbsp. butter
4 slices bacon (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute onions, add potatoes and water, cook 10 minutes.
Add fish and cook 10 minutes more.
Whisk clam juice and flour together until smooth.
Add clam juice and flour.
Cook until thickens.
Cook bacon until crisp, crumble and put on top of chowder.
