Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. rice
    4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. additional milk
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg
Preparation
    In the top of a double boiler, cook rice, 4 cups milk and salt for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Combine additional milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl.
    When rice is cooked, blend with egg mixture.
    Pour into a greased 7 x 11-inch ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Set dish into a baking pan with hot water. Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
