Orsinger Scotch Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oleo or Crisco
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    3 eggs
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg, well beaten (for topping)
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco/oleo.
    Add molasses and mix.
    Add 3 eggs and mix.
    Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
    Add to other mixture.
    Add more flour, if necessary, as needed.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick and cut into 3-inch diameter circles.
    Brush each round with beaten egg.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then turn cookie sheet and bake 5 more minutes.
