Sunshine Angel Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon or orange flavoring
2/3 c. water
Preparation

Beat cream of tartar, salt, vanilla and lemon or orange with egg whites until stiff.
Slowly beat in 1 cup of sugar.
Set aside. Beat egg yolks until quite light in color.
Slowly beat in remaining sugar.
Blend flour alternately with water.
Fold into beaten egg white mixture with large spoon.
Pour into ungreased tube pan and bake in center of oven for 60 minutes at 325\u00b0, then turn oven to 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and invert on cake rack to cool in pan.
