Kosher Style Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 bay leaves
1/4 tsp. celery or mustard seed
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. whole mixed pickling spice
1 Tbsp. vinegar
bunch of dry dill
2 grape leaves
pickling cucumbers (whole, chunks or sliced to fill jar)
pickling solution (1 qt. water to 1/4 c. salt)
1 qt. vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 oz. pickling spices
1 Tbsp. pickling salt
Preparation

Bring syrup to a boil and pour over rinsed pickles.
Seventh, eighth and ninth day, add 1 cup sugar daily; heat daily and pour over pickles.
On tenth day, pack jars and pour syrup over pickles.
Process for 5 minutes.
