Texas Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large onions, sliced
2 Tbsp. fat
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 green peppers, chopped
1 lb. hamburger
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook onions and green peppers slowly in fat until onions are yellow.
Add meat and saute until the mixture falls apart. Drain.
Add tomatoes, rice and seasoning.
Arrange in casserole, cover and bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.
Serves 8.
