My Favorite Crunchy Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening (I use 1/2 oleo, 1/2 Crisco)
    1 c. brown sugar (light)
    1 c. granulated sugar (scant)
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. quick-cooking oats
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. golden raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    You can add raisins to flour so they will not clump together.
    Beat well on low.
    Drop by teaspoons about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
    Yields about 5 1/2 dozen.
