Mom'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter, softened
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1 lb. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    6 eggs
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Add half the sugar, half the flour, vanilla and lemon. Add 2 to 3 eggs; mix until well blended.
    Add remaining dry ingredients and remaining eggs.
    Mix until all blended.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in tube pan or loaf pan until desired brownness.
    Insert toothpick in center of cake to make sure it is done.
