Almond Roca Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. melted butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    16 oz. chocolate chips
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and pat evenly onto cookie sheet (at least 10 x 15-inch size).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until light brown.
    While still hot, top with chocolate chips.
    When warmed, spread over hot dough.
    Sprinkle with fine slivered almonds.
    Cut carefully into squares while still warm.
